SSC Stenographer Selection Process
To get selected for the SSC Stenographer post, candidates have to go through the following stages-
- Written Exam
- Typing Shorthand
- Merit List
SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is as follows –
- SSC Stenographer written exam will be multiple choice type.
- The total time duration of the exam is 2 hours and 2 hours 40 minutes for visually handicapped candidates.
- The questions will be in both English and Hindi languages except Part-III.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination are as follows – General (UR): 30%, OBC / EWS: 25% and All Other Categories (SC, ST, PWD, ESM, Etc): 20%
Note: Candidates who qualified the written examination will be called for Computer Skill Test.
