The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the detailed RRB Group D Notification (CEN 08/2024) for Level 1 various posts on 22nd January 2025 on their official website. RRB will be filling approximately 32,000 vacancies for the Level 1 posts of Pointsman, Assistant, Track Maintainer, Assistant Loco Shed, Assistant Operations, Assistant Operations, and Assistant TL & AC through three stages of the selection process that includes Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Medical/Document Verification. About Job:
Salary/ Pay scale: Initial pay Rs. 18,000/-
Besides the basic pay, the selected candidates will be eligible for other allowances which includes Dearness Allowance (DA), Daily Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA), Allowance for Night Duty, Medical Facilities, Overtime Allowance etc. The in-hand salary of RRB Group Posts is Rs. 22,500 to Rs.25,380 per month.

– Duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
– There shall be a negative marking for 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
– The minimum percentage of marks for shortlisting for UR is 40%, EWS is 40%, OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST is 30%.
