Eligibility Criteria
- For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:

- NCC Service: Must have served for a minimum of two academic years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC.
- Grading: Should have obtained a minimum of ‘B’ Grade in the ‘C’ Certificate Examination of NCC.
- For Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:
- Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate: Not required.

Selection Process
The selection process for the Indian Army NCC Special Entry 2025 involves the following stages:
- Shortlisting of Applications: The Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army) reserves the right to set cutoff percentages for shortlisting applications. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and will need to select their SSB interview dates on a first-come, first-served basis.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage selection procedure at designated Selection Centres. Those who clear Stage I will proceed to Stage II. The SSB interview process spans five days and assesses various competencies.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the medical standards required for commission in the Indian Army.
Training Details
Selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks of training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai. Upon successful completion, they will be granted a Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.
