East central railway invites eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible candidates fulfilling the requirements under Apprentices Act 1961 can apply for apprentice training online through ECR Apprentice Portal named as rrcrail.in.
Candidates are requested to kindly go through the official notification published by east central railway before applying for the apprentice.

Monthly stipend: As per Apprentice Act 1961.

Selection process:
Selection for Apprenticeship training will be purely on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification for a particular Division/Unit.
The merit list will be prepared based on the average marks scored in 10th and ITI.
In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidate with older age shall be preferred.
The candidates who are listed in the merit list are subjected for original documents verification and with appropriate medical examination.
Candidates will be given with registration number once they register for apprentice. Candidates are requested to preserve this registration number till the process is completed with RRC.

How to apply:
- Candidates are required to apply ONLINE by visiting official website of Railway Recruitment Cell/East Central Railway i.e. www.rrcecr.gov.in.
- Candidates are required to log on to official website of Railway Recruitment Cell/East Central Railway i.e. www.rrcecr.gov.in provided for filling ONLINE applications and fill up the Personal details/Bio-data etc. carefully.
- At the time of registration, candidates have to fill 12 digits Aadhar Card number. (Candidates have to produce original Aadhar Card or document mentioned above at the time of document verification.)
- Candidates should ensure their name, father’s name, date of birth. Percentage of marks in Matric (10th) and ITI etc. should match exactly as recorded in Matriculation/ITI certificate.
