Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications
- Assistant Teacher for LP Schools:
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
- Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Qualified in Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary.
- Assistant Teacher for UP Schools:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Qualified in Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary.
Age Limit
- General category candidates: 18 to 40 years
- Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years
- OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years
- SC/ST (P)/ST (H): up to 45 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD): up to 50 years
Selection Process
The selection process for the DEE Assam Recruitment 2025 is merit-based, considering the following components:
Academic Performance
- Marks obtained in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary or equivalent examinations.
- Graduation marks, if applicable.
- Scores from Assam TET or Central TET.
- Professional qualifications such as D.El.Ed. or B.Ed.
Additional Qualifications
- NCC Certificate: up to 10 marks.
