- Experience:
- Professor: Minimum of 10 years in the relevant field.
- Associate Professor: Minimum of 8 years in the relevant field.
- Assistant Professor, Assistant Librarian, and Assistant Director: No prior experience required.
- Additional Requirements:
- For Assistant Professor, Assistant Librarian, and Assistant Director positions, candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET).
Age Limit
The age criteria are as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations.
Pay Scales
The positions offer attractive pay scales aligned with the 7th Pay Commission:
- Assistant Professor, Assistant Librarian, Assistant Director: Academic Level 10 with an entry pay of ₹57,700/-
- Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A with an entry pay of ₹1,31,400/-
- Professor: Academic Level 14 with an entry pay of ₹1,44,200/-
Application Fee
The application fee varies based on the candidate’s category:
- General and OBC: ₹1,500/-
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): ₹1,000/-
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST): ₹750/-
The fee can be paid via a University Cash Receipt or a Crossed Bank Draft drawn in favor of the Comptroller, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, payable at Pantnagar.
