Indian Coast Guard Recruitment for Commandant Posts

Applications are invited by Indian Coast Guard (ministry of Defence) from Indian candidates for recruitment in the post of Assistant commandant for 01 / 2017 batch in the Indian Coast Guard. Candidates are required to apply online on or before 1st June 2016.

Age Limit:- The applicants should be born between 1st July 1992 to 30th Jun 1998 (Both dates inclusive)


Educational Qualification:- Applicants should possess a bachelor degree from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and Math and Physics as subject up to 10th standard or class XII standard of 10+2+3 scheme of education with 60% aggregate marks in Math and Physics.


Selection Procedure:- The selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.


Age Relaxation:- The upper age of the applicants is relaxable for the following specified communities to the extent indicated below:-
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST category.
ii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC category.
iii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC category.
