Applications are invited from married / unmarried male candidates and unmarried female candidates by the Indian Army to join the Army for the post of short service commission in the Indian Army, bearing 20 vacancies for the 18th JAG Entry Scheme course commencing from April 2017 in the Judge Advocate General department. Candidate are required to apply online on or before 15th September 2016.

Age Limit:- The age of the applicants should be 21 years or more and should be less than 27 years. The age of the candidates will be considered as on 1st April 2017. Candidates should be born between 2nd January 1990 and 1st January 1997 (Both dates are inclusive).
Educational Qualification:- Applicants are required to have minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB examination and should have passed from a college / university recognized by BAR council of India. The candidates have to be eligible for registration with Bar council of India / any state.
Selection Procedure:- The selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of personal interview depending on the number of applications received.
