Age Limit:- The age of the candidates applying for the position of commissioned officer should not less than 20 years and should not more than 26 years. The age of the candidate should be as on 1st January 2017. i.e. born from 2nd January 1991 t 1st January 1997.

Qualification:- candidates applying for the position of commissioned officer should have post – graduation degree in any science stream / mathematics / statistics / geography / computer applications / environment science / applied physics / Oceanography / Meteorology / agricultural meteorology / ecology and environment / geo – Physics / Environment biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together (Provided math and physics were studies at graduation level with minimum of 55% marks in both.

Selection Procedure:- Selection of the candidates applying for the position of commissioned officer will be on the basis of short – listed candidates / intelligence Examination / Psychological examination / group examination and Personal Interview depending on the number of applications received.

How to apply:- Interested and eligible candidates applying for the position of commissioned officer may apply in prescribed application form along with ne self – addressed envelope of size 23 cm X 10 cm with Rs 27/- postage stamp / two un – attested recent color photograph similar to the one pasted on the application form and super – scribe the envelope with application for the “Meteorology branch courses commencing in January 2017” send by ordinary post too Post Bag No 001, Nirman Bhawan, Post Office, New Delhi:- 110106 on or before 2nd January 2016.
