UPSC Recruitment 2016 for Public Health Specialist Posts

Union Public service commission (UPSC) is inviting application for the post of 51 public health specialist grade – III, specialist grade – II, assistant survey officer, deputy director, director general, training officer and lecturer vacancies. Candidates are required to apply online on or before 14th April 2016.

Total No. of Vacancy:-  51 Posts

 

Public Health Specialist:- 24 posts

  • Age Limit:- The age of the applicants should be 30 years.
  • Pay Scale:- Rs 15600 – 39100/- Per Month
  • Educational Qualification:- Applicants must have MBBS degree qualification included in the first schedule or second schedule or part – II of the third schedule of the Indian medical council.

 

Specialist Grade – III:- 09posts

  • Age Limit:- The age of the applicants should be 30 years.
  • Pay Scale:- Rs 15600 – 39100/- Per Month
  • Educational Qualification:- Applicants must have MBBS degree qualification included in the first schedule or second schedule or part – II of the third schedule of the Indian medical council.

 

 

Selection Procedure:- The selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

 

 

Age Relaxation:- The upper age of the candidates is relaxable for the following specified communities to the extent indicated below:-
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST category.
ii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC category.
iii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC category.

 

 

Application fee:- Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 25/- either by using visa card / master card or net-banking facility of the State Bank of India. Candidates can also deposit the money in any branch of State Bank of India.

Candidates belonging to the schedule caste categories (SC) or schedule tribe categories (ST) are exempted from paying the application fee.
